The Marketing Department
The Marketing department serves as a primary growth engine for all of PracticeTek’s business verticals. We are the fuel that drives customer acquisition, conversion and retention through increasing brand awareness and promoting PracticeTek’s products and services. We are the face and voice that represents PracticeTek and its brands. We care as much about our team as we do about our products. The Career Opportunity:
PracticeTek is seeking a seeking an Organic Social Media Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing social media strategies to enhance our brand visibility, engage our target audiences, and drive traffic to our website. You will play a crucial role in promoting our services and expanding our online presence across various social media platforms. You should possess excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills. This is an onsite or remote position working with our in-house Marketing Operations Center.

Areas of Accountability
  • Social Media Strategy Development: Develop and execute a comprehensive organic social media strategy that aligns with the brand's overall marketing goals, enhances brand presence, and drives engagement across platforms.
  • Content Creation and Curation: Create and curate compelling content that resonates with the target audience, including images, videos, infographics, and written posts. Ensure consistency in brand voice and messaging across all social channels.
  • Community Management: Actively manage and engage with the online community, responding to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner. Foster a positive and interactive environment.
  • Social Listening and Sentiment Analysis: Utilize social listening tools to monitor brand mentions, industry trends, and customer feedback. Analyze sentiment and identify opportunities to address negative sentiment and amplify positive experiences.
  • Crisis Management: Develop and implement strategies for managing negative sentiment and potential crises on social media. Respond to issues with tact and professionalism, mitigating and negative impact on the brand.
  • Performance Analysis: Track and analyze key performance metrics for organic social media activities, such as engagement rates, follower growth, and sentiment analysis. Use insights to inform future content and strategy decisions.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, customer service, and public relations, to ensure a cohesive brand experience and to leverage opportunities for integrated campaigns.
  • Influencer Partnerships: Identify and collaborate with influencers and brand advocates to expand reach and enhance credibility on social platforms.
  • Trend Monitoring: Stay up-to-date with social media trends, platform updates, and best practices to ensure the brand remains relevant and competitive.
  • Content Calendar Management: Plan and maintain a content calendar that ensures a consistent and strategic presence on social media channels, aligning with key brand moments, product launches, and promotional campaigns.
  • Optimize company pages within each platform to increase the visibility of company’s social content.
  • Proofreads posts and graphics for clarity, grammar, and spelling.
  • Gain approvals from stakeholders.
  • Liaise with marketing directors and other team members to ensure deadlines are met.
 
Competencies for Success
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or similar.
  • Sprout Social or similar platform.
  • Hubspot (nice to have)
  • 2+ years of experience in an advertising agency or in-house marketing team
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills, with a proven ability to juggle multiple projects and manage competing priorities and tight deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact with leaders and highly intellectual thinkers.
  • Experience with the Microsoft Office suite. 
  • Asana Project Management (not required, but a plus!)

EDUCATION: 
Bachelor’s degree required.
